I carefully group students based on their year and ability level, making sure they get the right balance of support and challenge. Some children are preparing for the 11+ exam or other school based assessments, while others are building confidence, filling learning gaps, and rediscovering the joy of learning in a positive, supportive space.
I also take time to learn about their interests and passions, weaving them into lessons to make learning more engaging and meaningful.
This approach keeps learning engaging and inspiring, helping children enjoy the process of discovering new concepts.

Teaching classes of 30 children without extra support has shown me just how important a focused, nurturing environment can be. Whether it’s team games, treasure hunts, Maths challenges, or group storytelling, children collaborate, push each other to do their best, and form meaningful friendships along the way.
