At Connected Tuition, I keep small group sessions to a maximum of four children, making sure each child gets the personalized attention they need.I offer English and Maths tuition to children aged 4-12 in Ealing W5. With my background as a specialist teacher, I provide the same high-quality support you’d expect from one-on-one tutoring, but in a dynamic, collaborative space where children can share ideas, build confidence, and grow in a relaxed, engaging environment without pressure.
I carefully group students based on their year and ability level, making sure they get the right balance of support and challenge. Some children are preparing for the 11+ exam or other school based assessments, while others are building confidence, filling learning gaps, and rediscovering the joy of learning in a positive, supportive space.
I also take time to learn about their interests and passions, weaving them into lessons to make learning more engaging and meaningful.
This approach keeps learning engaging and inspiring, helping children enjoy the process of discovering new concepts.
What makes my small group sessions special is the perfect mix of personalized support and the advantages of learning with peers. Children thrive on the friendly competition, teamwork, and shared ideas, making learning more engaging and boosting their motivation. For those preparing for the 11+, working alongside peers of similar ability pushes them to stay focused, challenge themselves, and reach their goals together.
I create a customized curriculum for each of my students based on their learning goals and needs. This ensures that my students get the most out of their tutoring sessions and make progress towards achieving their academic goals. In small groups, I can give each child the time and attention they deserve, providing personalised guidance that often isn’t possible in a busy classroom setting.
Teaching classes of 30 children without extra support has shown me just how important a focused, nurturing environment can be. Whether it’s team games, treasure hunts, Maths challenges, or group storytelling, children collaborate, push each other to do their best, and form meaningful friendships along the way.
In my small group sessions, your child gets all the advantages of one-on-one tutoring, without the intensity of a solo lesson. It’s the perfect balance—personalized support from an experienced teacher in a lively, engaging, and confidence-boosting group environment!
