This introductory session gives me the chance to visit your home, carry out some informal assessments, and get a better understanding of your child’s current level, needs, and interests. It’s also a great opportunity to talk through your goals and expectations for tutoring in more detail.
During this visit, I’ll organize everything needed for upcoming sessions and provide a clear overview of how the tutoring will work. This helps ensure a smooth start, giving everyone confidence in the process. Plus, you'll have the chance to ask any questions you may have.

Personalised Homework
At Connected Tuition, I believe in the impact of personalized learning, which is why I provide personalised homework after each weekly session. This helps reinforce key concepts and ensures your child builds confidence in their skills.
If I notice your child struggling with a particular topic, I’ll add supportive resources to their personal folder to strengthen their understanding. This homework is completely optional and designed to complement their schoolwork without adding pressure.
For those preparing for the 11+ exam, structured homework becomes a crucial part of their journey. I offer targeted practice papers and focus on trickier areas to refine skills and improve pacing, helping them feel confident and ready.

Weekly Reading Book
